What does the donor privacy policy entail?
At LDA Minnesota, we are committed to protecting the privacy of our donors and their personal information.
LDA collects donor information including name, email, and mailing address upon receipt of donations or event registration. Then we store this personal data in our secure database for future recognition of donations and to track repeat donors. LDA processes credit card donations through a third-party provider. In order to process donations made, we use our donors’ information. LDA does not physically or virtually store credit card information; however, LDA’s third party processor stores information for future payment processing using payment card industry data security standards (PCI-DSS). LDA does not disclose your personal information to any other third parties.
We use donor information to mail updates from LDA Minnesota and acknowledgments of donations. LDA Minnesota does not sell, share or trade our donors’ names or personal information with any other entity. Also, LDA does not send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations. Donors may contact LDA Minnesota to update and/or their personally identifiable information or opt out of future contact from LDA.
This policy applies to all information received by LDA Minnesota, including an online or offline credit card, ACH transactions, check and cash donations.
If you would like to speak with someone about our donor privacy policy, or make changes to your information, please call us at 952-582-6000 or email info@ldaminnesota.org.
