LDA Minnesota provides community-based educational programs for children, teenagers and adults. We specialize in the assessment, diagnosis and intervention/planning for individuals struggling to overcome the barriers caused by learning difficulties, including students who may be at-risk for academic failure. Our services are highly individualized, to meet the specific educational goals of each person. Specialized services include psycho-educational assessments to diagnose a learning disability (LD) and/or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), ADHD support services, professional capacity-building, tutoring, and consultations.

Available Programs and Services

Assessments – diagnostic testing to identify a learning disability, such as dyslexia, or attention deficit disorder
Executive Function Skill Building – build the skills necessary to be successful and independent learners in middle school, high school, and post-secondary education
Tutoring – individualized for each learner in reading, writing, math, study skills, college preparation and more
Consultations – qualified, knowledgeable specialists can offer suggestions, action steps, and support to help navigate special education, understand your disability, and more
Professional Development – training and workshops on a variety of topics to increase school performance and help your team implement new strategies
Workshops – informative sessions designed for parents and professionals delivered in-person or via webinar
Adult ADHD Support Groups – open and confidential opportunity to meet others with ADHD and share strategies to manage the challenges of ADHD
